Dec 10th 2017 – Di Voci guest at Altrincham Concert Orchester Christmas Concert
Response from MD of ACO:
“I would like to say a huge thank you from myself and the orchestra to the Di Voci Women’s Choir for an absolutely fantastic performance this afternoon. At the end of the concert I had one audience member after another telling me how much they enjoyed the concert.
I thought the standard of the choir was outstanding and I enjoyed standing by the side listening to the solo pieces as much as our joint pieces. There is obviously a huge amount of talent within the choir and that came across time after time. One lovely surprise on the day was the additional descant parts to the carols – I wasn’t expecting that at all, but it just added a wonderful layer on top of everything else.
It would be great to collaborate again in the future if there is another opportunity.”
Dec 2017 – Di Voci sing at charity concert Light up a Life
Response from Legacy Giving Officer:
“Could you please pass out thanks and gratitude to the choir for supporting St. Ann’s Hospice so beautifully again at Hale on Wednesday evening. Your efforts are really appreciated and valued. Could I also take this opportunity to ask if you would support us again next year….”

October 2016 – Di Voci sing as guests at Chester Male Voice Choir Concert
Response from CMVC:
“….I feel I must add my own personal thanks. In addition to being a member of our choir I am also Chairman of our local Retired Police Officer’s Association. For this concert I arranged for our police members to be informed of the concert. At least 10 came, 1st time for most of them, and from the comments, phone calls and comments I have received, they were bowled over. As a frustrated dancer I was particularly impressed with your Tango song. It annoys my grandkids when I dance to music in supermarkets, but I defy anyone not to swing those hips when the nature of Tango music was so wonderfully expressed by you. That is not to say the rest of your programme wasn’t excellent. it was and I know the rest of our choir thought so too.
Another programme at your venue, if possible, is something to which we are all looking forward. Once again, thank you!

December 2016 – Singing at Light up a Life Charity event
“I just wanted to thank you all so much for performing at St Peter’s Hale last week. We have had so many positive comments about your performance.”
July 2012 – extract from Andrew Hodkinson’s review of our joint concert with Tideswell Male Voice Choir from Buxton Festival Fringe website
“Their singing was a revelation – clear, wide range, superb intonation, and dynamic range, and what power from only 27 singers! Their items were wide ranging and a joy to listen to, and the combined items with TMVC were something really special.”
Singing at Weddings
“We were lucky to have the beautiful Di Voci choir preform at our wedding in July 2016. The choir were more than willing to perform both before the wedding to welcome our guests and during the signing of the register. They contributed to a joyful but calm ceremony by performing famous classics such as John Rutter’s ‘For the Beauty of the Earth’ and his ‘Gaelic Blessing’ as well as performing two pieces composed by the bride!. We both appreciated the help and support of the choir as well as the hard work and musicality of the conductor, Lorraine. Thanks so much to all involved – you sounded amazing and you even wore clothes to match the colour scheme! It was beautiful to hear you singing as I arrived in the bridal car with my dad and you made me feel calm and relaxed. You truly sounded like angels and you truly made our day very special.
SE, July 2016
“Music was a really important part of our wedding day and having Di Voci sing during the ceremony made it extra special. So many of our guests commented on how fabulous the choir was. They performed a beautiful rendition of ‘For the beauty of the earth’ by John Rutter while we were signing the register and listening to that piece now brings all the memories flooding back. We would happily recommend Di Voci to any other brides and grooms”.
JdK, August 2015
“I wanted to say a HUGE thank you from me and Mike. I arrived on time so I could be in the entrance of the church just in time to hear you all, and then again later. The ceremony was a dream from start to finish and I just want to thank Lorraine and the other wonderful ladies of Di Voci as you all played a massive part in making my dream come true. Thanks again.”
