Di Voci at Sale Festival, with Ashton on Mersey Showband – 11th June 2026

It was wonderful to perform for the first time as part of Sale Festival to a small but very appreciative audience. The ever-popular Ashton on Mersey Showband put on a lively and engaging performance too.

We had the following message from Steve Hodkinson, the organiser of Sale Festival:

Just a huge thank you to everyone who took part last night. We had a small audience but they showed their appreciation of what was a ‘fabulous’ evening. The Festival was enhanced by your presence. Great music, a well chosen programme and a good night for all

Di Voci at Sale Festival, with Ashton on Mersey Showband

Our next concert is very soon – Thursday June 11th at 7:15pm at Sale Waterside. This is very exciting for us as this is part of Sale Festival and we will be joined by the fabulous Ashton on Mersey Showband. Tickets are available here .

Ashton on Mersey Showband were formed early in 1973 as the school band of Ashton on Mersey School, Sale, Cheshire. The band’s repertoire now boasts music from the 40’s, marches and big band numbers through to arrangements of the greatest musicals, Michael Bublé and even Take That and Oasis! Over the years, the band has raised over 1 million pounds for local, national and military charities and looks forward to continuing that work for many years to come.
