Come and join Di Voci! Do you love to sing? You don’t need to have had vocal training or even read music (although it definitely helps). You just need to be able to hold a tune. We are a very friendly and supportive group of women and we have a lot of fun. Click here for more information.

From the Waterside Arts website:
If you love many kinds of music, then Di Voci’s repertoire is for you.
Di Voci is an award-winning women’s choir, founded in 2007 and based in Altrincham.
They sing works written in each of the last four centuries, including those by Arcadelt, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Elgar, and others from late 20th and 21st century composers of choral music e.g. Bob Chilcott, Sarah Quartel, Ola Gjeillo, Eric Whitacre and Sasha Johnson Manning.
Add to that wonderful mix popular works from Bernstein, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel and Billy Joel and you will find something for all musical tastes. Enjoy!
We are delighted to welcome our new MD, Ben Nicoll, from January 2026.
Ben studied conducting at the University of Manchester with Rob Guy, where he was selected for the conducting programme and led various ensembles, masterclasses and two world premieres.
After graduating, he became the conducting scholar at the University of Warwick, studying with Suzzie Vango and Tom Newall, and regularly conducting the Chamber Choir, Chorus, Symphony Orchestra and Vox Ensemble at the Warwick Arts Centre and on tours to Manchester, Coventry, Lichfield, and Prague.
Ben is also Musical Director for the Poynton Gilbert and Sullivan Society, conducting productions of HMS Pinafore and Iolanthe. In September 2025, Ben became an Associate Choral Leader for the Manchester Choral Scholars (in partnership with St Martin-in-the-Fields) and conducted the Burford Orchestra for their autumn term. From January 2026, he can’t wait to get stuck into his new role as Musical Director for Di Voci.
